COVID-19 safety precautions meant that OPERATION PUMPKIN 2020 would be a virtual event. Still, Ortho El Paso’s Dr. Jason Vourazeris was able to join other El Paso physicians in a pumpkin carving contest and auction to benefit the Lee & Beulah Moor Children's Home. This is the 19th year for this benefit which raises money for the charity and the 5th year Dr. V has participated with his precision cutting and carving skills.
Dr. V's pumpkin titled "Tiger King" was auctioned off with the other doctor's carved pumpkins for donations to the children's home.
The Lee & Beulah Moor Children's Home has been serving children and families in the El Paso community since 1959. Programs include residential care, foster care, adoptions, and educational programs that teach independent living and other life skills.
